Even children who don't live near the ocean have a facination with the sea and its wonderful creatures. In this mini unit, kinder kids will learn that oceans cover most of our world and that ocean water has different characteristics than fresh water. While fish and whales may share the same ocean habitat, they belong to different animal families. This mini unit is designed to be used with cross age buddies to assist kinder kids.
