Students will use Mem Fox's, Koala Lou and WombatDivine to learn to identify nouns and verbs. Insert a brief overview of your lesson plan. Rememberteachers are your target audience on this page. You might want to editthis section after you have finished designing your lesson. At that time you'll have Subject: Written Language 1.0. WRITTEN AND ORAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE CONVENTIONS: Students write and speak with acommand of standard English conventions that are appropriate to each gradelevel. 1.3Identify and correctly use various parts of speech, including nouns and verbs, in writing and speaking.
Insert brief summaries of your introductory, enabling, and culminating activities. Insert links toonline resources in your text and insert links to activities on your studentlesson web site. IntroductoryActivity #1On the first day, students will be introduced to new vocabulary. Then they will read Koala Lou in small groups. EnablingActivity(ies) #1 Next, students will do brainstorming session and list a large number of nouns on the board.
